what kind of amplifier should I start with two large 12-inch audio subs?

I dont know any of the information on other submarines when they are 12 "dual voice coil. I have a 4-channel 1200-watt amplifier, I was going with this? How many channels and how many watts do I get? Thanks

what you have is OK, you must only received a tunable electronic crossover, there are many on the market, take your pick, I was an alpine head unit with kenwood mtx crossover and 4-mtx amps at 7500 watts, all woofers 4-18,4-15,4-12 and they hit like a sob ported driving with more than 45 hertz and it would help much if your box was made this tune for best results when you this is less than lows hit and shake the hell out of everybody. They could also explain the amplifier in a bridged that your cargo on would double the amp, but still double your power to be sure that your amplifier is well ventilated and not hungry for power, i also possible to a few capacitors to keep my amps in a good mood with happy juice.good dont lose your hearing.
