What is a good electronic radio control car for someone new to RC Cars. ?

It is good that you spend so much money lead You have got great quality. You spend a lot of money upgrading most R / C models with tons of after market performance products. Take a look at your www.traxxas.com Electric models are the E-Bandit $ 185, E-Rustler $ 185, E-Stampede $ 185, Higher priced are the E-Maxx, Slash, E-Revo and soon the E-Revo Brushless, The E-peak is in January and it is working LED tail, head and drive with lights on at night and that's really cool. If you spend $ 185, then you get a "wound" Electric motor and you need to buy a Ni-Mi-battery (3000 mAh to 4600 for $ 30 to $ 60 one plus one charger and a better quality, they are $ 50 to $ 150 The best Electrics are with brushless motors and they are much more efficient and faster and longer. The Li-Po batteries are best for power and duration, but more expensive. If you say e-Rusltler VXL Brushless www.maxamps.com model with a 6000mAh Li-po $ 130 or so, then it will be about 50mph, and not for long. You'll also need a Li-Po battery charger. HPI makes great cars / trucks, www, hpiracing.com. I have the E-Savage and like it, but it is not brushless. www.horizonhobby.com is a great R / C dealer and mfg.
